7 mesures par seconde is the rhythm that provides sufficient intensity to our attention to provide a continuous representation. 18 beats per second on the skin, that’s the number from which you feel a constant pressure. 24 frames per second is cinema. Image and movement are the keystone of n + n Corsino’s creations, choreographers and creators of new images. Refining the skills of our senses, expanding the field of our perceptions by exploring the possibilities of virtual and augmented reality and artificial intelligence, this is the challenge of these cinematic-choreographic works. With two new creations, Event by Eleven, DragonFly, a dozen pieces, some of which are visible for the first time in France, 7 bars per second is an unprecedented cycle at the crossroads of living, plastic and digital arts.
