Matthieu Hocquemiller excels in drawing portraits that are as sensitive as they are powerful, for which he engages performers on the path of their own autofiction.
Through these portraits, thinking is woven, often tinged with humour, which mixes intimate and political, personal journey and collective structures.
In a critical questioning of norms, he is particularly interested in minority aesthetics and the stakes of the performance as a space of visibility, power and clarification.
Goupils, a hybrid artistic object, is an installation in Volumetric Videos.
Volumetric Video is an innovative medium which allows the viewer to move around within a three-dimensional image using a Virtual Reality headset.
The installation consists of three immersive tableaux of ten minutes each:
-Goupil 
-Rana 
-So & Alci
Accompanied by a voiceover and a sound environment created by Benjamin Collier, they are used to compare thoughts and to develop a subject around inclusion / exclusion devices.
