Supervised by the composer and multidisciplinary artist Michel van der Aa, on the occasion of the revival of his show Blank Out at the Festival d'Aix 2019, the Opera & New Technologies workshop presents itself as a time of reflection and exchange on the use of new technologies in opera creation.
This workshop proposes to define the potential of new technologies in the field of musical and theatrical creation: from the tool to the deployment of an idea, to the essential and constitutive element of the narrative. The workshop will be punctuated by meetings, visits and shows.
This workshop is aimed at opera creators as well as artists from the multimedia arts.
